QA Manager - the Role
The successful QA Manager will play a critical role within maintaining Bradgate Bakery’s admirable food quality record. Reporting to the Site Technical Manager, the role will focus on the management and co-ordination of all QA activities on the day shift. You will be responsible for ensuring maintenance and continual development of technical systems within the Bakery. You will be accountable for managing Internal Audit System, GMP Audits and troubleshooting audits within the Bakery by working closely with the Technical, Development and Production departments.
QA Manager - the Successful Individual
To be successful in the role, you will have the following required skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications;
- A strong technical background, with experience in a similar role, you will bring energy and innovation to this challenging role
- A sound understanding of Microbiology, HACCP and traceability
- Educated to degree level in a natural science related subject or an Advanced Food Hygiene qualification
- Computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
- Successful management experience, with the ability to lead and coach a team. You will have a proactive and professional management style dedicated to achieving results and continuous improvement
