Packaging Development Manager

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As Category Packaging Development Manager you will be responsible for delivery of first to market packaging concepts to ensure we are ahead of competitors, managing the critical path for packaging
work with customer development teams and internal stakeholders to build relationships which maximise competitor advantage. You will evaluate and recommend enhancements to current portfolio to support the consumer experience, manufacturing efficiency and cost of goods as well as develop innovative solutions in line with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives. Other duties include monitoring of quality issues, providing troubleshooting and problem solving resolutions for identified problems, Project Management of specified projects within Product Development and management of Packaging Technologists where applicable, ensuring they have clarity on objects.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
You will have strong project management skills and experience of FMCG, excellent communication skills and the ability to create and maintain good relationships
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent
