Your job, as Technical Manager, is to support the site manufacturing function by providing a service to ensure that the finished goods fully comply with the product standards, manufacturing specifications and quality management system. You will maintain the quality management system and implement group requirement supported by effective process control plus manage the daily running of the quality department and personnel, overseeing food safety, quality and hygiene requirements within all areas of the site. You will drive continuous improvement throughout all aspects of the site manufacturing operation.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual with at least 2 years experience in a similar technical / quality manager role within the food manufacturing industry, ideally within ambient products. You will also be a holder of food related degree / HND or equivalent; advanced food hygiene and advanced HACCP are highly desirable. You will be a natural self-starter and can work under your own initiative, possess excellent communications skills and be IT literate.
The Technical Manager job is based in the East Midlands region and is paying £50,000 - £55,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
