We're working with an exceptional branded food business who are well known and respected for their entrepreneurial ethos and innovative approach as well as their market leading products. They are now looking for a new addition to their team to help drive the delivery of the highest quality products.
In this instrumental role you’ll play a key part in the development and launch of new products for your prestigious customer base. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all NPD projects are completed against the critical path in line with customer launch plans as well as the latest legislation and core company values. This will involve planning and organising pre-production trials to guarantee the smooth transition of products from kitchen to factory.
- Co-ordinating and participating in audits and taste panels to guarantee product consistency, ensuring the entire range meets retail quality standards and offers consumers an exceptional taste experience.
- Working closely with NPD, Production and Technical teams to improve recipes and launch new products that are in line with customer specifications and budgets whilst implementing methods to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Actively supporting continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring customer needs are met regarding at all stages including raw materials and packaging sign-off in order to maintain the company’s steadfast reputation for excellent service.
Suit a food graduate who has previously worked in a food manufacturing environment within a technically biased process development role. Some experience of handling products from concept approval to factory handover is essential along with an understanding of the processes and procedures within a factory environment. You’ll need to have excellent planning and organisational skills as well as the ability to communicate across all levels as you’ll be working closely with internal teams to help launch products right first time round.
