Role - Production Supervisor
Salary - £23,000 - £28,000 PA
Location - South West

The company has an unrelenting passion for great quality food who started as a smaller company and now hugely recognised, their demand for their products was unprecedented which continued into them being a fully-fledged food manufacturer. Since the early days they have significantly expanded their range to meet demands and all of their products are made from the best possible quality ingredients and they endeavour to source products from supplier as local as possible. They are still a massively growing company who are constantly improving and extending their range with innovative new ingredient and combination ideas in the quest for ultimate food production.

The Production Supervisor will:
*Work to produce the highest quality products ensuring that quality always comes before speed and that every attempt is made to ensure all products that leave your line are of the highest quality.
*Ensure every attempt is made to keep the line going, this involves assisting individual team members and identifying weak or slow areas and effectively managing product change overs.
*To monitor progress of all team members.
*Identifying training requirements and implement training.
*Maintain discipline throughout the team, achieved with the use of performance reviews and informal warnings.
*Developing skills and knowledge of all team members
*Ensure adequate cover is available to cover your responsibilities when you are absent through sickness or holiday.
*Identify improvements and encourage improvements
*Identify problems quickly and take effective action to resolve problems.
*To act on information given to them by managers, for example over use of ingredients.
*Ensure good stock rotation is used.

The Production Supervisor will need to:
*Have previous experience within management of a production area and experience of working within the food industry.
*You will also need to be able to receive instructions and also to delegate effectively.
*Have good time management skills.
*Be able to multi-task.
*Attention to detail.
*Constantly mindful of ethical standards both personally and professionally, showing integrity, reliability and trustworthiness.
*Be tolerant and patient with others.
