You will be working with a manufacturer and supplier of frozen prepared products to the foodservice industry. They are a well-established business with an impressive range of innovative products.
The purpose of the Development Technologist is to offer general support within the product development department. You will provide administrative support with filing and organising of product development paperwork, assist with nutritional information for NPD products, be involved with NPD product briefs, assist with managing product samples plus provide kitchen support where necessary.
To be considered for the Development Technologist job, you will either be a recent graduate in a food related discipline OR you will already possess a Food Technologist, NPD or similar background. An ambition to build a career within food manufacturing product development and a strong passion in food is essential. To succeed in the role, you will have excellent administration and organisational skills, a strong work ethic plus be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft software.
The Development Technologist job is based in West Midlands and is paying c. £28,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 44 hours per week.
