The job

Your role as QA Technician, is to provide technical support for the company food safety and quality system. Your duties will include monitoring production activities, carrying out QA checks (temperature, scales checks, thermometer checks, pH meter checks), carrying out sensory checks on products, investigating and logging (trending) customer complaints, collecting lab samples and logging them on the labs online system, carrying out swabbing (microbiological, protein residue, DNA, etc.), issue non- conformances and trend analysis, updating factory documentation, generating product labels, responding to technical queries and carrying out internal audits including GMP, CCP, start up checks etc.

Your experience

To be considered for the QA Technician job, you will be a positive and forward thinking individual with a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar quality assurance or related role within food manufacturing. You will possess good working knowledge of GMP, basic food safety and hygiene plus be able to prioritise and manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines.

More details

The QA Technician’s job is based in the London region and is paying £24,000 pro rata. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, however flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the business.

This role is a 6 month contract with the potential to be extended.
