We are seeking a talented individual to join an innovative, high quality manufacturer which supplies to various retailers throughout the UK. You will join a really friendly and supportive team with a fantastic, fun working atmosphere.
As NPD Manager, your job purpose is to manage a talented team of 6 individuals in order to provide market leading NPD solutions and direction to the business. You will carry out product design and development to ensure that manufacturing processes are capable of producing a safe and legal product, provide technical support to customers in relation to food safety, legislation and product quality plus identify cost saving opportunities through continued technical understanding. You will project manage all NPD from conception to launch, project manage artwork and packaging development, review the retail market place to ensure current knowledge of competitor innovation and NPD launches plus maintain an awareness of current food developments and trends.
We are looking for an efficient and organised individual who can demonstrate solid NPD experience from within food manufacturing. You will have an excellent understanding of formal product development processes, be highly analytical and possess strong communication, project management & presentation skills. A degree within a food science / technology discipline is highly desirable.
The NPD Manager job is based in the Home Counties / East Anglia region and is paying £45,000 - £50,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The company will also offer a relocation package if required.
