Paul Nyman Consultancy are currently recruiting an Interim Quality Manager for a brand and own label business based in West Yorkshire, commutable from South and East Yorkshire too.
This business forms part of a larger group, boasting a well-respected global brand which spans across a range of product areas. Having recently joined up with a branded business and increased their level of investment into international sites, they're progressing through a key growth stage and now seek an Interim Quality Manager to join their Technical team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring QA audits relating to GMP, HACCP, quality and hygiene systems are audited at the agreed frequency
- Participating in customer site visits and factory tours
- Investigating factory non-conformances and the traceability system to ensure compliance
-Ensure manufacturing and production processes meet international and national standards
Your background will most likely include a degree, or strong background relation to Food Science. You will be motivated by ensuring excellence and furthering factory standards, understanding the importance to ensure other stakeholders within the businesses from the factory floor upwards are also adhering. Reporting to the Head of Technical, you will form part of a strong team, whose focus is ensuring high quality at every step in the production process.
For the right individual this Quality Manager role will enable you to add to your interim portfolio, or as a permanent employee in-between roles this will provide you with short-term employment.
