FARM PLACEMENT OPERATIVE

We currently have a vacancy within our Lincolnshire Broiler Division for hourly paid Farm Placement Operative to work at various locations within the Lincolnshire Broiler Farming base.

This is a permanent position, working an average of 48 hours per week. Applicants must have a flexible approach to days worked/days off, days worked will be 6 out of 7.

The job involves:

  • Assisting with the placement of day old chicks, on Broiler Farms ensuring quality, Bio-security and welfare standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Distribute ‘Top Up’ Bales when required to assist in bird welfare
  • Flush out drinker lines prior to Chicks arriving on farm to prevent a build-up of bacteria. 

All applicants must have the following essential key qualities:

  • Full UK driving License with a minimum of 1 years driving experience (following appointment a driver awareness course may be required)
  • Flexibility in days/hours worked
  • Reliable
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Previous experience of working on a poultry farm would be advantage.
