Duties

The role of the NPD Team overall is to ensure the business develops a pipeline of new products and ideas that have followed our NPD process and that have been fully validated by consumer research and store operational testing. Our aim is to build our pipeline between 18 months to 2 years ahead.

You would be responsible for working on our exciting calendar of products that you see in each of our businesses and is clearly visible across all types of media. 

You will work closely with the rest of the Product Excellence team from our Technical Managers to our Supply Chain Managers and you will also have management responsibility for an NPD technologist. The marketing team will also become your best friends as you  work closely with them whilst managing the operational implications of your ideas. 

You will:  

  • Be hugely passionate about food, keeping up with the latest trends and innovations and have a real foodie mindset 
  • Have experience of working on a number of product launches from ideation through to implementation 
  • Have grown and developed your career within the restaurant, retail sector, food manufacturer or agency 
  • Be able to build great working relationships within NPD but also cross functionally
  • Be ambitious and driven to grow a big global career with us 
  • Have a real team player mentality and always be willing to get stuck in 
  • Have a good understanding of NPD processes 
  • Be able to juggle multiple projects at once with great organisational skills and an attention to detail
