Working from a state of the art manufacturing facility, the business is dedicated to producing consistently high quality products which are formulated specifically to meet their customers’ needs.
As Technical Services Coordinator, you will form an integral part of the technical team with a key focus on suppliers, contract services and technical systems. You will ensure that the core technical systems and services employed by the company across all sites are fully implemented and maintained to meet the most up to date standards set internally, by external bodies, customers and regulatory authorities; this will be driven by HACCP, best practice and relevant codes of practice. You will maintain & improve the supplier assurance system, maintain specifications, raise and manage non-conformances, assist during audits and customer visits plus ensure that BRC, customer, company and legal requirements are achieved and maintained for raw materials, packaging and services sourced.
Ideally educated to a degree level in a food science related discipline, you will be a positive and forward thinking individual who can demonstrate an excellent understanding of raw material specifications, supplier approval, HACCP and internal auditing (at least one years’ experience.) You must also have strong organisational skills, the ability to work independently on your own initiative and enjoy a challenge! A full UK valid driving licence is also required in order to visit multiple sites within the business.
The Technical Services Coordinator job is based in South Wales region and is paying up to £23,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
