As Category Manager, you will provide key insight to the retail customer and internal teams in relation to the chilled category. This will be done through in depth analysis of a number of data sources and consumer insight; this role is key in developing future growth strategies, aligned to retailer plans. You will oversee the weekly & monthly reporting, prepare and present consumer led solutions to the customer, evaluate and report on all promotional and activity movement providing insight and future plans, assist with the implementation of key seasonal range changes, shape and manage a regular program of consumer research activity plus manage and develop the Category Analyst.
We are seeking a committed, positive and influential individual with strong food industry knowledge and experience of working with customer research, from brief development to implementation & presentation of insight. You will possess effective communication and presentation skills and IT literate with strong analytical ability to interpret market research data and reports. You will also have working knowledge of data sources, including Dunhumby, Kantar, IRI, Neilsen. A background experience of working with Tesco is highly desirable and a full UK valid driving licence is essential.
The Category Manager job is based in the Lincolnshire region and is paying £55,000 - £60,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus car allowance. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.
