The job

Your role as Site Hygiene Manager is to effectively manage and develop the site hygiene function. You will be pro-active in achieving the highest standards of hygiene throughout the factory, ensure that all hygiene standards are compliant with customer codes of practice and identify and deliver solutions for continuous business improvement that ensure food safety, legality & quality remains paramount to the success of the business. You will also ensure hygiene staff are appropriately trained, organised and managed to complete required workload, drive forward departmental policies and procedures plus management and control of departmental budget.

Your experience

You will be able to demonstrate strong hygiene experience from within a food manufacturing background, preferably in a managerial / supervisory role. You will possess excellent knowledge of food industry working practices i.e. BRC, corrective action closure internal auditing, food cleaning chemicals plus hygiene standards in a factory. You will be flexible, have the ability to communicate at all levels with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
