The Role

We are currently recruiting a Planning Team Leader to join our Planning team. Within the role you will be responsible for leading a team that creates the advanced and optimised planning/scheduling and process materials to organised production requirements in line with customer needs, reliably, efficiently and effectively.

Key Accountabilities

You will manage available planning systems to convert sales forecasts into achievable production and material plans and schedules that optimally balance customer service and operational cost efficiency, publish plans with internal and external stakeholders to ensure plans are correct and monitor and suppliers to ensure material requirements are matched with production schedules.

You will also work with distribution providers and transport teams to ensure customer delivery, ensure the team contributes to the business planning forums and provide leadership and direction to the planning team whilst always looking at improvements that can be made.

Skills & Experience

Ideally education in a planning, supply chain or logistics discipline or experience in this area. You will have good experience working in a supply chain function ideally in an FMCG environment, be computer literate and good at analysing data and report writing.
