As Maintenance Engineer, the purpose of your role is to conduct reliability activities on shift and help deliver a world class service in regards to filling machine and process plant availability and efficiency. You will work closely with process and shift engineering teams to drive factory efficiency targets, work closely with CI and operational teams to deliver reliability improvements, use appropriate tools, including root analysis, to diagnose faults and develop corrective action plans, identify weakness in PM plans and deliver proposals for improvement plus also work with Operators and Shift Technicians to identify and implement standard equipment settings through effective trials.
You will possess solid experience of working in a maintenance/engineering or similar role from a manufacturing environment – ideally FMCG or food manufacturing. You will have sound knowledge of filling technology plus demonstrable knowledge of complex fast moving clean environments. You will also possess high attention to detail, good problem solving skills and have a proactive approach. Engineering related qualifications are highly desirable ideally to a HND level and IOSH qualification is also a benefit.
The Maintenance Engineer job is based in the West Midlands region and is paying c. £37,000 depending on individual skills and previous experience plus excellent benefits including 5% annual bonus, private medical care, 4x life insurance and up to 9% pension contribution.
This is a day shift role.
