As Technical Coordinator, the purpose of your role is to assist the Technical Manager in implementing food safety, quality and hygiene systems across the UK business. You will provide competent and efficient technical administrative support to both internal and external customers plus maintain site technical systems and compliance against customer standards. You will contribute ideas and solutions to improve the team’s service delivery, understand the importance of HACCP and work with colleague to ensure necessary standards are maintained, ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely and accurate fashion plus embrace the QMS system and use this as a tool for continual improvement.
To be considered for the Technical Coordinator job, you will possess previous experience of working in a related quality/technical role in food manufacturing. You will ideally have good working knowledge of the following; HACCP, internal audits, customer complaints, non-conformances and raw material intake. A food related degree is highly beneficial and experience of frozen/fresh produce is also an advantage.
The Technical Coordinator job is based in the South East region and is paying £25,000 - £28,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus company pension and 21 days holiday + bank holidays.
