Facilities Coordinator, London

Our client is a growing business with a number of sites scattered in and around London. Due to their success they need to source a designated Facilities Coordinator to ensure that each of the sites is maintained to the exemplary standard that they should be kept to.
This role will be based within the Engineering department, however it has a wide and varied remit. It covers maintenance of utilities, managing contractors on site, liaising with all personnel within the business as and when required, as well as getting quotes from businesses for work needed to be done.
As the job title indicates this is a person who will facilitate the business and enable it to operate in as efficient and as cost effective a way as is possible.
The perfect Facilities Coordinator will have an innate desire to make things right. You won't be able to walk past a blown light bulb or a leaky tap without needing to replace/fix it! It matters to you that everything runs smoothly and when it doesn't your mission will be to right it.
This is no job for a desk person. This is a field based role. The Facilities Coordinator will go where they are needed. As a result, the benefit of this is that there is no repetition in this function. No two days are ever the same and you will love that!
As in any facilities role, this person will need to have an up to date knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations. It is down to this person to ensure that the workplace is a safe place to be. Where there are areas of risk / hazard, you will be able to think clearly and quickly and resolve the issue in a suitably fast manner.
