We're looking for you to get as excited about our customers as we do. Our National Account Managers work with the top retailers and food service brands. Working in our Food Service team you'll manage a relationship with the likes of Pret, Itsu and Pizza Express to name a few.
This opportunity will give you excellent exposure to working with customers who lead the way in food trends. We work collaboratively with our customers and provide insights and innovation in our product offering to ensure we can maintain our excellent relationships and a reputation for being forward thinking and future focused with our product offering.
Natures Way Foods is a growing fresh convenient food business which works in partnership with customers in own label categories. With consumer tastes constantly evolving, we pride ourselves on being several steps ahead and with a stream of new product ideas based on category insight and new manufacturing technologies there will be many opportunities to develop professionally.
Our Category team are innovative and insightful; they are focused on developing a deep understanding of shoppers, consumers and categories and working alongside our customers to develop insight-based category plans, followed through with exciting and creative NPD concepts. All of these focus on growing the categories we operate in.
This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and understanding of the whole product life cycle, from consumer insight to commercial activation. Your ability to commercialise consumer and shopper insight, to influence and build relationships will be valued and rewarded as an integral part of our growth teams.
The key accountabilities in the role:
Grow the Category: use your commercial acumen, entrepreneurial and strategic skills to grow the category and the service levels to our customers.
Analyse and advise: use data and insight to identify gaps and opportunities to improve consumer experience, business profitability and decision making.
Build strategic relationships: leverage your ability to build successful relationships with a wide range of people. We are keen to hear from people who have the energy and drive to improve and innovate but can also demonstrate a track record of delivering results as part of wider internal and external teams.
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
Ability to build excellent relationships both internally and externally as well as being able to influence at all levels: We work cross functionally across departments, internal relationships are as important as those with our customers.
Passion and enthusiasm: Our teams are dynamic and show passion for the product and our customers.
Commercial acumen: You don't need to have been a National Account Manager previously but if you have previous commercial exposure such as Buying/Category Management we'd love to hear from you.
