We are looking for a chemical engineer to join a process improvement group with a food and beverage manufacturing business. You will be applying your engineering knowledge to continually improving process plant performance. This role is based on day shifts but you will need to complete some shift work to fully understand the process and be successful in the role.

Day to day:
·     Working in a very collaborative way you will be ensuring all shifts have the right resources to achieve production plan
·     Take an active role in continuous improvement activities
·     Assisting in product quality initiatives ensuring quality standards and GMP guidelines are followed
·     You will support installation of new plant and commissioning activities
·     Be available to provide technical support to the line and troubleshoot any issues. 
You will be:
·     Graduate engineer (ideally Chemical or  Process Engineering) with sound knowledge of food or beverage manufacturing processes
·     Previous experience in the food industry is needed, particularly with experience of continuous improvement
·     Excellent communication and IT skills
·     Ability and aptitude for people management
·     Ambitious to move on with your career within a technical engineering role into management
