Group Supplier Auditor

Our Client is a fast paced, high volume complex food manufacturer, who are continuing to grow and invest in their business and as such would now like to recruit an Supplier Quality Assurance Manager.

This is a pivotal position within the business and is paramount to the continued success and growth of their product portfolio. You will be responsible for the prioritising and risk assessment of all suppliers into the business and you will audit them against internal standards akin to the recognised retail ones. You will audit and report back on non conformances and seek resolutions at all stages as well as attending raw material approval meetings to enable the business to introduce new ingredients. You will need to travel for audits to supplier sites in the UK, Europe and Globally to ensure compliance across all documentation, processes (such as HACCP) and products. 

This role as Supplier Quality Assurance Manager requires a knowledgeable and robust professional who has experience of conducting external audits and is able to travel frequently.  Already working in an auditing function, with at least 5 years in a FOOD manufacturing environment.  You must have excellent attention to detail. Remuneration on this position is circa £40K - £45K along with other company benefits.
