London | Perm | £40,000

The Role

The primary role of the Account Manager is to drive the growth of sales and new business opportunities within designated accounts.  The Account Manager is solely responsible for all aspects of the management of such accounts and is also responsible for generating client’s data, solving day to day client queries, answering emails and other customer related interactions. The role itself is a core part of our client’s commercial function for retailers, encompassing category management, insight and sales strategy. You will need to be committed to responding fast and comprehensively to our retailer’s short term and immediate needs; keeping your eyes firmly on the long term agenda.  You will need to have the vision to execute sustainable growth in each of their departments. 

As an Account Manager you will be reporting to your senior manager to implement the commercialisation of business products in order to increase the efficiency of the current range and develop new business

The Candidate

  • Proven Account Manager track record in food and at least 3 years commercial account management experience
  • High degree of numerical thinking and be a creative and logical thinker
  • Possess the skill to apply attention to detail in every project and easily multi task
  • Aa team player with a positive attitude and adapt to change easily
  • Articulate with the willingness to learn and grow in a new role through shire determination and dedication
  • You must be passionate about food and able to communicate this through presentations and communications
  • Full clean driving license
  • Flexible to travel both with the UK and abroad
