Days and Nights rotating - 6 on, 6 off - 3 days, 3 nights, 6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to provide high quality engineering maintenance support to production areas.

Key responsibilities will include ensuring that all breakdowns are carried out methodically and efficiently to the best engineering standards, ensuring all reactive PPM tasks and their respective corrective actions are carried out according to their schedule and undertaking plant strip downs, rebuilds and component repairs.

You will also be responsible for reactive maintenance, working on PLC’s (fault finding), small project work, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and completing all works with strict regard to Health and Safety, company hygiene and site procedures.

We’re looking for someone who holds a C&G, NVQ or equivalent in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and who has experience working as a multi skilled maintenance engineer within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a food or FMCG environment. You must possess knowledge of Food Safety, be computer literate and have excellent communication and problem solving skills. A full UK driving license is also required.
