A specialist FMCG food company are now seeking a Demand Planner to join their HQ in the Camberley area. Reporting to the Operations Director, the successful Demand Planner will be responsible for UK demand planning and management of the S&OP processes. The role will encompass collating data from a variety of sources in order to improve the accuracy of demand forecasts helping the business to identify potential opportunities for growth and align inventory levels with peaks and troughs.

The successful Demand Planner will have held a similar position in the FMCG arena, with prior experience of robust demand planning and forecasting. Ideally the Demand Planner will have experience of working with international markets and multiple SKUs.

You will have a positive ‘can do` attitude with proven experience of working across multi-disciplinary teams to achieve results; ideally educated to degree level or equivalent you will have strong analytical skills with the ability to work with high volumes of data. Experience of SAP would be useful but not essential.

 Key responsibilities of the Demand Planner include:

- Delivering a reliable volume forecast  to achieve industry relevant service levels with minimal inventory levels
- Facilitate the monthly S&OP process
- Identify risks, opportunities, constraints with plans and identify/initiate solutions
- Cross functional working with the commercial and NPD teams
- Finalise NPD pipeline volumes
- Managing and working with the relevant forecasting system
- Achieve consistent, reliable, Forecast Accuracy
- Ensure service Level is at industry benchmarks as a minimum and meets internal metrics
- Minimise and drive down costs associated with write-offs
