This expanding company specialises in producing a wide range of award winning and high quality products which are sold into premier food halls, prestigious restaurants, and top end retailers.
As Technical Manager your role will be to ensure compliance with UK legislation and customer codes of practices plus facilitate the implementation of quality standards by ensuring the necessary training and support is made available to all departments. You will be responsible for the maintenance of the QMS, HACCP, allergen control and internal audits, lead customer audits, deal with non-conformances, provide production specifications, work closely with the NPD, production & hygiene teams plus manage all aspects of microbiology / chemical sampling of products including trend analysis.
To be considered for this role you need to have a solid quality / technical track record within food manufacturing and looking to make a step forward in your career; this role would suit an existing Assistant Technical Manager looking for a step up. Educated to a degree level in a food related discipline, you will be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of BRC Food Standards, HACCP, GMP and quality hygiene auditing.
The Technical Manager role is based in the South Coast / Home Counties region and is paying a highly competitive salary according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
