What you'll be doing
As Mobile Stores Salesperson you will be responsible for operating an M&S mobile shop visiting businesses within a designated area to sell delicious M&S products. You will have the commitment and knowledge to drive exceptional service, sales and standards within our operation, providing a high level of customer service at all times.
You will promote the customer brand, M&S, at all times acting as an ambassador from both Greencore and our customer. As part of your sales role, you'll also look for new business opportunities to sustain and grow the customer base.
On a daily basis, you will be required to complete stock review and ordering activities, performing pre-departure checks to ensure that all merchandising and temperatures are within specification and that the vehicle is safe to use.
You'll be dealing with the general public on a daily basis, so we'll be looking for you to be comfortable working alone and as part of a team, being able to take accountability for making decisions and providing solutions to daily challenges.
What you'll need
Our mobile stores operation is extremely busy, so you'll need to be comfortable with early starts, normally around 7am. You'll already have a full driving licence and previous experience of working within a customer services environment.
With an outgoing personality, you'll be at ease in a sales environment and will use your ability to create rapport to build strong relationships. You will thrive on a demanding retail environment, be target orientated and of course feel comfortable handling cash.
