Part of a large specialist food group, this market leading business has been established for over 40 years and is dedicated to producing and supplying high quality and unique products to nearly every UK major retailer.
As Maintenance Engineer, your role is to support the engineering function on site to look after plant and the building fabric and assist the production staff in order to help ensure that production lines continue to function as required. You will identify machine faults, carry out planned preventative maintenance, ensure replacement parts are available in the engineer stores, participate in the installation of new equipment, assist in the training of engineering and production staff plus input details of all work done onto relevant manual system so that machine reliability and maintenance costs can be accurately measured.
To be considered for the Maintenance Engineer role, you will have previously worked in a similar engineering/maintenance role in the past, preferably in a food manufacturing/FMCG environment. We do ask that you have a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 and have served an engineering based apprenticeship. Also, if you have a HNC in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, that would be even better. Due to site location, you must also be able to drive.
The Maintenance Engineer job is based in the Lincolnshire / East Anglia region and is paying £26,000 - £28,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus benefits including 33 days holiday (including BHs), pension scheme, share purchase scheme, private healthcare, childcare vouchers and more!
The weekly shift pattern will consist of 5 days on, 2 days off including weekends (48 hours per week).
