We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to work for an independent, leading manufacturer of well-known branded products which are supplied into the majority of the UK major multiples.
Reporting to the Development Manager, your role will be responsible for the management of the development projects within an agreed customer portfolio. You will communicate ongoing product changes between the development and production teams helping to deliver efficient and innovative development, actively seek to improve the high standards of quality and service to the customers, communicate appropriate and relevant production information and decisions back to the Senior Managers, provide support to other Development Coordinators and Development Manager and achieve and surpass customer development strategies ensuring sales budgets/profit targets are in line with company strategy and department objectives.
You will possess a minimum of one years product development experience, preferably supply into the UK retailers and also ideally be educated to a degree level in a food science related discipline. You will have excellent communications skills both face-to-face and over the phone, be positive and results driven and capable of managing a complex workload. A full UK driving licence is also required as is the flexibility to travel in the UK and spend one to two nights away from home per month.
The Development Coordinator job is based in the South West and is paying £24,000 - £28,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus benefits including 6% non-contributory pension scheme and cash plan medical scheme.
