You will be working for an extremely successful and well established manufacturer which is dedicated to producing high quality, authentic products. They are dedicated to supplying the retail, wholesale and foodservice sectors with a continuously evolving range to meet their customers’ needs.

The job

Your role as Technical Information Officer is to provide technical support to the company and to liaise with both suppliers and customers on technical requirements. Your responsibilities will include ensuring company food safety and quality objectives are met at all times, compiling customer product specifications plus review and update as required, provide technical support to the company and all customers, compile and maintain raw material specifications, coordinate with suppliers to procure COA/COC of raw material received, keep abreast of legislation to ensure company compliance and communicate any changes internally, assist in the benchmarking of products, ensure new products are analysed according to customer requirements for nutrition and shelf life, ensure that micro samples are recorded and sent to the laboratory plus the completion of quality attribute sheets and any other technical documentation required by the customer.

Your experience

Ideally educated to a degree level within a food science / technology discipline, you will be able to demonstrate solid technical experience from the food manufacturing industry. You will also have a good working knowledge of product specifications, food and hygiene policies plus documented policies and procedures. To succeed in the role, you will have a keen eye for detail and possess effective time management skills.
