Part of a large specialist food group, the business is dedicated to producing and supplying high quality and unique products to the nearly every UK major retailer.
Your role as Production Team Leader is to be responsible for management and performance of a designated production line, ensuring that the product is packed and labelled in accordance with quality specification & department KPI’s plus on occasion you will fill in for the Area Controller as required. You will manage the delivery and enhancement of key operational effectiveness measures including product waste reduction, right first time quality processing, labour utilisation, productivity and overall efficiency and manage all line resources of stock, equipment and labour to ensure all tasks are completed effectively. You will also maintain high levels of housekeeping & hygiene, training of new team members plus ensure all management information and control documentation is maintained, accurate and in accordance with traceability, official standard/requirements and legislation.
We are seeking a committed, positive individual who currently has some supervisory / team leading experience from a related production within food manufacturing – a background of working with fresh produce is also essential. You will possess a good working knowledge of production machinery, have excellent attention to detail, together with a good standard of numeracy and communication skills. A holder of any food safety or H&S related qualifications are also highly desirable. A full UK driving licence is essential.
The Production Team Leader job is based in the Lincolnshire region and is paying £19,873. The working hours will consist of 43.5 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis.
