We are seeking a talented individual to join an expanding, well established, award winning business who supply into most of the UK major retailers. There is currently lots of growth happening with new buildings and an increase in production lines so there is excellent scope for career progression.
This is a brand new position created due to the aforementioned company expansion. As Production Supervisor, the purpose of your role is to manage and organise the team so that the production plan for the area in terms of volume and quality requirements are fulfilled. This will include planning cover as required and liaising with other departments to ensure maintenance and cleaning schedules are completed as planned. You will ensure that all relevant KPI’s for the area are monitored and relevant actions taken, ensure all rules are properly communicated and complied with, ensure process improvements are fully supported within the team and also facilitate continuous improvement activities to help move the business forward.
We are seeking a committed, positive individual who with solid experience from a similar Production Supervisor/Manager role in food manufacturing and is looking for the next step in their career. You will possess the ability to forge relationships, drive a strong and efficient workforce plus possess a good understanding of food safety standards and procedures. You will also be results-orientated with a positive attitude to drive forward continuous improvement.
The Production Supervisor job is based in the South West region and is paying a highly competitive salary depending on individual skills and previous experience. The shift pattern will be 4 days on, 4 days off.
