Assistant Buyer | National Brand | West London
Our client is a large specialist retailer with sites nationwide. We are looking for new talent to join their established Buying team.
This role will support the buyer in a perishable short shelf life category.
As the Assistant Buyer you will be responsible for working through the admin associated with the process as well as developing category buying responsibilities.
You will have the opportunity to develop as a buyer with the business supporting your growth with national and European travel to visit suppliers.
We are looking for someone who wants to progress.
You will need to be able to adapt to change and use you creative attitude to solve complex problems in this job.
To do this attitude will be paramount and the need for a 'can do' outlook can't be understated.
Product experience can be taught but experience or an interest in horticulture or gardens would be a benefit.
Your current job could be: Buying Admin, Buying Assistant, Procurement Assistant, Category Assistant, Junior Buyer, Administrator.
