Engineer, Food Manufacturing, Lincolnshire
Working in a highly automated site - this Engineer must have an excellent understanding of robotics and automation.
Our client is one of the market leaders in the food industry, producing some of the most delicious foods for the major retailers. We are currently looking for an experienced Engineer who is familiar with working in a manufacturing environment in a maintenance capacity.
If successful, you will be joining a highly skilled, friendly Engineering department with great work ethics who are proud to be part of such a flagship environment. As an Engineer this site you will be working in is a highly automated, state-of-the-art facility, so an in-depth knowledge of robotics and automation is an essential requirement for this role.
Our client is looking for an Engineer who has the following attributes:
- Nationally recognised electrical and mechanical qualifications
- Understanding of PLC and computer controlled equipment
- Experienced and mature enough to deputise for the Engineering Manager when required
- Have an ability to work effectively on their own and as part of a team
Ideally, the Engineer will be a time-served apprentice with knowledge of steam boilers, steam systems and CIP systems. You will have an ability to communicate effectively and be comfortable with training and developing appropriate production staff, to deliver their first line maintenance objectives.
Coping with breakdowns and keeping downtime to a minimum will be key to your role. You will be the one who keeps your head in a crisis and gets the line up and running again in super quick time.
