The Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales in an allocated geographical sector and within your particular market. You will manage and develop a professional customer portfolio, to whom you’ll promote the company products. As the client's first point of contact, you will represent the company brands and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You will manage the overall customer portfolio, identify new sales opportunities, ensure achievement of quantified targets, advise on competitor activity, prepare annual sales budget, provide comprehensive sales support and advice including making technical recommendations and negotiating sales proposals and actively monitor sales activity of the portfolio by compiling regular reports on results. This role presents the opportunity to be the face of the business providing a vital interface between the customer and R&D.
To be considered for the Sales Manager role, you will possess a strong B2B sales / account management commercial experience within the food industry, working directly with and selling into manufacturing clients. Ideally educated to a degree level, you will have a proven track record of delivering sales growth and achieving sales profit plus possess excellent project management and account management skills. A full UK driving licence is essential.
The Sales Manager job is based in the Midlands region, it is predominantly a home based position, however you will be based on site in the Midlands 1-2 days per week. The role is paying up to £48,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus excellent benefits including company car, fuel, pension, 25% bonus and BUPA private healthcare.
