We are looking for a Farm Manager who will help set up the Kent fruit operation for the future. This is the right person's opportunity to work on a farm that has been heavily invested in. You'll need to get stuck straight in to your new job and hit the ground running. You will be working for one of the leading growers in the country so you'll have the task of maintaining their prestigious reputation. The Role

You will successfully deliver the farms financial and social contribution by leading, coaching and building positive relationships with key stakeholders which enhance the quality and commercial offer to the customer.
You will deliver high standards of agronomy and crop margins while maintaining high quality products for the customers and the highest standards are delivered to any clients.
You will contribute in the development and delivery of the 10-year strategic plan through full delivery of the farms vision.
You will control the farms financial key performance indicators (KPIs).
You will plan, maintain and improve the farms infrastructure and assets influencing acquisitions and disposals so they are protected within the budget and longer term plan for the business.
You will establish, maintain and develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders such as CFA clients and landowners maintaining a productive and collaborative partnerships which deliver increased land area through a strong reputation for high standards of client care.

The Candidate

You'll need an in-depth knowledge of farming production methods and passionate grower of crops as well as knowing the basics of good farming practises.
You'll have a degree or equivalent educated and experience in agricultural production.
The confidence and ability to lead a team.
Maximise performance through people while maintaining a results focused drive.
You will be commercially aware and keep up to date with market patterns and farming news.
You will have a good knowledge of accounts and budgeting.
