We are currently working with a very impressive market leading business, who are heavily involved in the fresh food industry. This business has seen incredible growth over the last few years and have been at the forefront of technological advances. Thanks to this expansion, they are now looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to work with the team to help continue this progression.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing relationships with new customers as well as expanding the range of products existing customers are currently utilising. The company is very well known so most approaches will be welcomed and the benefits of the dealing with the business will be pretty clear. Working closely with the Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for keeping a good flow of new business into the company.
Ideally, you will have good commercial acumen, in either an Account Manager or Commercial Manager role OR as a Buyer or something similar. Experience of working in the Fresh Produce or Food industry is essential, as it will help you to build quick credibility with the companies you are dealing with. The company has a strong "family" feel so they need someone who is comfortable working in a close knit team and will slot in effortlessly. They are very keen to get the most out of this role and willing to offer all the assistance and guidance required to make this role a success.
