Group Compliance Manager

This is a great opportunity to join a large chilled food group who supply own branded products into all the major retailers. A well recognisable product, the business is innovative and can offer a rewarding working environment plus progression within the company for the right candidate.
Your role as Group Compliance Manager is to ensure that all company group sites comply with retailer & industry guidelines and retailer codes of practice. You will be responsible for managing and updating group policies, ensuring risk assessments are managed and up to date, updating & monitoring of potential threats, carrying out scoped supplier visits as necessary where key issues need to be covered, review of retailer codes of practice as and when required, collate group responses to compliance related issues to be communicated both internally and externally plus carry out ad hoc audits of suppliers/internal site procedures.
You will be a results orientated and driven individual, can demonstrate an understanding of operating integrity and have high standards for compliance and quality. A strong quality / technical manufacturing or similar compliance background in food manufacturing is essential together with qualifications such as Lead Auditor, HACCP, TACCP etc. You will have a strong focus on needs of the customer and consumer plus a passion for driving forward business improvements.
The Group Compliance Manager job is based in the Midlands region and is paying £45,000 - £50,000 according to individual skills and experience plus £5,700 car allowance.
