We are current looking for an experienced Business (continuous) Improvement Manager to support the team at a site level to challenge the status quo, influence change and deliver results.

The key focus of Business Improvement Manager is to provide relevant expertise in the leadership, deployment and transfer of recognised 'best in class' business improvement activities, standards and skills to enable us to fulfil the business plans targets. You'll be reviewing and analysing scorecard performance for the site teams to ensure data integrity, generate insight and action improvement plans which develop current performance.

What you'll be doing

You will lead the Business Improvement plan, ensuring that cross functional teams are engaged to focus on the specific priority areas and have the appropriate tools and/or necessary support to utilise them effectively. A large part of the role will also require you to deliver training across the site, up to yellow belt, to build capability across all functions.

Not only will you focus on supporting and leading your team to deliver successful results for the business, you'll also play a key role in mentoring them to realise their own potential both now and in the future.

As Business Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for identifying resource requirements and will work closely with the Senior Leadership team to build appropriate teams to deliver the agreed programmes of work. You'll also work closely with other sites within your division to share best practice best practice and benchmarking to inform manufacturing unit application of tools and solutions.

You'll also provide coaching and hands on support for the use of foundation elements of the business improvement toolkit to build practical experience and ongoing capability. At every opportunity you will promote the development of a lean enterprise culture across all areas of the business, engaging key stakeholders to sponsor Business Improvement activity.

What you'll need

We'll be looking for you to hold a Diploma or equivalent Business Improvement vocational qualifications and be Lean six sigma Green Belt certified as a minimum. You will have manufacturing experience in a recognised world class lean enterprise and a proven track record of leading changes and delivering results as a Lean sigma practitioner.

You will be PC literate alongside having strong analytical skills with the ability to plan and implement initiatives and have the ability to deliver behavioural training and coaching.
