A fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales and marketing leader to join an innovative and passionate food manufacturing business.
We are excited and hugely enthusiastic about representing Booja-Booja as they expand there leadership team, recruiting now for a Commercial Brand Director.
Booja-Booja is an independent manufacturer of delicious, organic chocolate truffles and dairy free ice cream. All the company's products are made by dedicated team at a factory in Norfolk and are sold in independent wholefood shops, leading high street food retailers, luxury department stores and via online retailers throughout the UK and in some European countries. The company is enjoying significant brand recognition and new business growth from a developing number of passionate followers. They have won 77 awards for their vegan, dairy, gluten and soya free truffles and ice cream, including 27 Great Taste Awards.
Managing a team of 6 people in sales, marketing and design the role of Commercial Brand Director reports directly to the Managing Director. The role will be responsible for consumer strategy, planning, budgeting and delivery as well as creating and developing a positive internal sales and marketing culture to support core values. Whilst the marketing and brand activities such as social media engagement, consumer insight, marcoms and event management are at the core of this strategy the role will also require someone who is comfortable driving sales and new business development. An added attraction for this position is a genuine opportunity for the right person to take ownership our the overall business at General Management level in the future. The key to this hire is to find someone who will embrace the magic and individual qualities of this type of business whilst bringing clarity, detail and credibility to deliver the commercial marketing and sales strategy.
With expereince of food and drink or premium FMCG, you will have a cohesive mix of marketing and sales leadership skills with previous experience of B2C and B2B customer engagement.
You must also have the personality and strength of character to manage complex negotiation with internal and external stake holders.
Finally to match the integral values and culture of this wonderfully unique business you will be passionate about food trends and ethical sourcing.
