An UK manufacturing group seeks an experienced Development Chef to join its team producing Ready Meals for UK retailers.
One of the UK's leading food manufacturers is looking for a Development Chef to join its team. If you are seeking a new challenge in a fast paced successful environment then this is a great career development opportunity. The team is hoping to find a experienced chef who has worked in some well established high end businesses; someone who is creative and has a bank of innovative product ideas that are on-trend to be called upon when a new and exciting project is briefed by the major retailers and foodservice organisations.
You will be responsible for working on initial concepts, from ideas generation through to factory trials and product launch. You will working on a variety of cuisines for different retail customers showing casing your best ideas to give them first to market new lines that provide competitive edge.
This role is ideally for a current Development Chef looking for a new opportunity, or a passionate restaurant chef who is looking for a new challenge where they can use their chef skills and culinary ability, and adapt them into a manufacturing NPD environment.
You will be working closely with other members of the Product Development Chef team and other colleagues including Technical, Marketing, Sales and Manufacturing personnel. Your communication skills and commercial acumen are essential to make sure you launch highly successful products.
