As Production Planner, you will be accountable for driving the day to day plans and schedules focussing on labour profiling to optimise labour utilisation across lines. You will identify the most efficient way of planning without jeopardising service considering raw materials, manufacturing and packaging implications, ensuring all non-production activities including trials, hygiene and maintenance are scheduled daily/weekly, ensure that the plan is correct within the constraints agreed plus communicate order fluctuations and schedule changes in a timely fashion to the operations management team.
To be considered for the Production Planner role, you will possess experience of working in a supply chain, planning or similar background within a manufacturing background (ideally food manufacturing / FMCG). You will possess a high standard of computer literacy (Excel, Word), the proven ability to work to tight deadlines and excellent communication skills at all levels.
The Production Planner job is based in the South West region and is paying up to £26,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are a 2 weekly rotation of Wednesday to Saturday and Thursday to Saturday 5.30am – 5.30pm.
