A leading FMCG Manufacturer is currently seeking a Group Projects Controller with Continuous improvement experience to assume responsibility for the site project management of innovation / projects and all activities within those individual projects.

Reporting into the Group Operations Director, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate previous experience of defining and execution of group wide project agenda in line with the group project plan, this will include generation and maintenance of a rolling projects plan and pipeline, liaising and managing internal management and external contractors, as well as previous experience of budgetary management and project funding and cost management.

Project Manager Responsibilities include:

Identify and agree strategic direction and value of project workload including generation and maintaining of a rolling 2/3 year pipeline of projects and initiatives.
Create project justifications based on Return on Investment (ROI) analysis
Deliver improvements in safety and quality performance year on year.
Use rolling forecast to generate Strategy Plan, Capital and non-Capital Project lists (including costs, timing, benefits, asset transfer/write-off etc).
Maintain the live & current-year project forecast, adjusting the project list dependent on new business prioritisation.
Liaise with commercial, operational, quality/technical, safety and engineering colleagues to capture, scope, quantify and prioritise project ideas, ensuring alignment to Strategy Plan and Capital Project lists and the project forecast.
Deliver projects on time, to budget, with successful ramp-up, no unplanned business impacts, which deliver the planned business benefit.
Ensure good standards of financial control and post project review to establish project success.
Provide a “can do”, proactive business service to scope and estimate “what-if” projects, and project
options/alternatives, thereby facilitating better business decision-making and choices.

You will be a Group Projects Manager / Senior Project Manager with a FMCG manufacturing environment background (desirably Food or Drink Manufacturing). You will be Project Management Qualified (Prince 2 or equivalent) and any AutoCAD IT training/knowledge would be deemed highly beneficial.
