Established over 70 years ago and with a reputation for quality British produce and sustainably sourced international goods, my client has become a leader in their field. This privately owned business has adapted with their consumers creating bespoke ranges for some of the leading grocers and foodservice businesses in the UK and abroad. When their products are not in season in the UK, they work with local communities across South America and Europe to provide ethically sourced produce. Due to the double digit growth they have experienced over the past few years, they are now expanding their commercial team.
As Junior Account Manager you will work alongside 3 other people reporting into the Business Unit Director. Supporting on accounts such as Sainsbury’s and Marks and Spencer, the role involves day to day account management and being the main contact for all enquiries received. As a business that like to promote from within you will be given the chance to work on joint business plans, also working closely with the supply chain and manufacturing teams in order to get a more rounded view of the business and the team around you.
In order to be considered for this role you will currently be working as a Commercial Executive or in a similar role within an FMCG food business. Being able to show your ability to work cross functionally and proactively is essential. A passion for the food industry is a must, as is the drive and ambition to not only progress your career but continue to develop this exciting business.
