A leading FMCG food manufacturer is currently seeking a Hygiene Supervisor to work on the night shift (6pm - 6am) with an overall responsibility of Team Leaders and Department Staff.

You will be a Hygiene Supervisor / Hygiene Team Leader used to working in a food manufacturing environment with excellent communication and team building skills with experience of cleaning chemicals, and cleaning techniques.

You must have knowledge of risk assessments, an understanding all safety issues regarding the areas and machinery and appropriate knowledge to influence and facilitate the continued improvement of all Production.

Hygiene Supervisor responsibilities include:

- Ensure all planned cleans are completed to a high standard.
- Have day to day control of all aspects of the hygiene areas.
- Ensure all scheduled cleans are completed and communicated.
- Ensure that all information is recorded accurately and checked. 
- Improve clean levels and reduce micro.
- Monitor effectiveness of cleans in conjunction of labour costs with a view to continuous improvements.
- Work within set budgets.
- Ensure that a relevant training plan is in place and agreed for all staff under their control.
- Monitor all key performance indicators.
- Follow any reasonable request as required by the business.
- Ensure there is daily liaison with all staff, internal customers, Planning, Production and other functions when necessary.      
- Ensure that cleaning is conducted in a food safe manner.
- Ensure that labour is available along with equipment available when required.
- Develop and improve professional competence.
