The Company

This growing food business specialises in bringing quality dried ingredients to the UK market place. They are ambitious and placing great focus on developing their NPD team so are now recruiting a new NPD Manager for their ranks.

The Role

As NPD Manager you will be reporting to the Commercial Director and taking responsibility for managing new projects from concept to launch. This will involve keeping up with new food trends, competitor analysis, benchmarking and presenting products to customers as well as ensuring all products are delivered in line with agreed timescales as well as the critical path. You will work closely with internal NPD, Technical and Commercial teams as well as customers to ensure all new ranges are bang on trend and commercially viable, developing strong relationships and providing the highest levels of service for your prestigious customer base. Another key aspect of the role will also include liaising with external suppliers to guarantee only the best ingredients are used in alignment with brand values whilst exceeding quality standards every time.

The Person

We are looking for a passionate and proactive NPD Manager who has experience of delivering products from concept to launch within a fast paced food manufacturing environment. You’ll have a good understanding of the NPD process coupled with the ability to prioritise and organise your work effectively across multiple projects. Great communication and interpersonal skills are also essential as you’ll be working with a large supplier and customer base as well as internal colleagues at all business levels.
