Our manufacturing site located in Wednesbury in the West Midlands, is a dedicated Sous Vide facility and the site has seen significant grow in both volume and its’s customer base since it was opened in 2014. Due to an internal promotion we have an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to progress their career into site management. The role requires an individual with a strong operational and commercial background to take ownership for all the aspects of manufacturing as well as been involved in shaping and developing the future of the site in line with customer requirement and the added value business unit strategic goals.

As Site Manager, you will need to be able to lead and continually develop the team as the business changes and grows whilst supplying quality products to the retail and food service markets. Excellent coaching skills are crucial.

As site lead you will be have overall responsibility for the management and delivery of company objectives on: Health and Safety, quality, service, food safety, costs, continuous improvement and people, as well as been accountable for improving KPI’s across the site.

To be successful in your application, you will have previous experience in a similar role or will be ready to set up into a site management position. In addition you will have a sound knowledge of commercial and costing’s, and be competent and confident when dealing with the customer. You will preferably have a food related degree alongside relevant operational experience within the food industry. You will be a passionate, motivated and committed to succeed.  A flexible, adaptable and positive approach will lead to success in the role.
