You will be working for a self-contained business unit that delivers comprehensive auditing services to UK retailers. They are now looking to recruit an Auditor to join and strengthen their existing dedicated technical team.
The main aspects of your role will involve liaising with senior site personnel to arrange supplier technical audits which are carried out against various categories on behalf of one of the UK’s major retailers. You will complete, manage and return all required documentation. This job will give you the opportunity to travel all throughout the UK and Ireland, working directly with blue chip food manufacturers.
You will be able to demonstrate a strong technical and extensive supplier auditing experience within the food industry. Your product background will ideally cover multiple categories (i.e. bakery, dairy, meat, desserts, fresh produce, etc.) however we will also consider a background from fewer products but can demonstrate excellent knowledge. You will also be a holder of the Lead Auditor qualification and your knowledge of Tesco retailer auditing standards will be second to none. You will have the flexibility to travel and stay away from home 2-3 days each week with a full UK / EU driving licence (all travel expenses are paid by the company).
The Auditor job is a home based position with travel throughout the UK and Ireland. The role is paying £50,000 - £55,000 depending on individual skills and previous experience.
