A new opportunity has arisen at our Fleming Howden site for a Key Account Manager.  You will be responsible for the Northern territories in Scotland. This is a home-based position.

As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for developing and maintaining existing customers to deliver improved Gross Margin, Volume, and Credit KPI’s vs target whilst generating new profitable business through effective management and direction of available resources. This is to be achieved through managing existing customers and prospecting and converting new Business Opportunities whilst also achieving agreed cash targets relating to credit terms. 

You will optimise profit through effective management of product mix using the Fleming Howden portfolio, and ensure that effective business relationships are developed with customers by;
Managing the Technical and Marketing interface with customers
Managing the necessary resources to provide solutions to customers needs
Managing promotional activity effectively
Seeking win/win outcomes for customers and Fleming Howden
Championing customers and being a source of current information to the business

Desirable Skills
Extensive field sales experience, preferably gained within the Food Industry
Very strong at building relationships at all levels
Ability to influence through adapting communication styles
Ability to problem solve and identify solutions that can be communicated effectively
Technical understanding of ingredients
Must live within the geographical territory
A team-player who understands the importance of internal and external relationships

Location: Home-based, covering Northern Territories encompassing Aberdeen & Inverness
