Joining us as a skilled process engineer you will combine your knowledge of process engineering and manufacturing principles to support the delivery of a successful Dairy Production Facility. For the first 6 months the role will be a support-engineering role to the Process Project team, focusing on the design, installation, testing and commissioning of equipment and processes. Over the long term the role will become a site Process Engineer, part of a high performing team, focusing on the preventative maintenance and optimisation of all equipment and processes.
As a process engineer you will effectively perform electrical and mechanical maintenance of all process equipment, maintaining detailed PPM system with the engineering planner, ensuring its compliance in a flexible and efficient manner. You will also need a understanding of CI activity - develop ideas and action when agreed. Pursue through to completion and measure effectiveness. Work closely with the Process department to deliver a quality product and all KPI's.
We are looking for candidates with previous experience of working in an automated FMCG manufacturing environment as a Process Engineer. Having completed a recognised apprenticeship in an engineering discipline you will have knowledge of Process Optimisation with PLC experience, S7 preferred.
Once the site becomes operational the post will move onto a 12 hour continental shift pattern during commissioning and into operational phase.
