We have, however, recognised the potential in the wider market for diet/nutrition, weight management, fitness and healthy living and are committed to capitalising on the opportunities that exist.

The current business model is built around a network of franchises and the intention is to grow these as well as establishing new distribution channels. At the same time new product and programme development initiatives combined with innovative national and local marketing will play a key part in raising brand awareness and bringing in new income streams.

There is a clear recognition that none of this will be possible without fully harnessing the opportunities afforded by the wider use of the internet and online technologies. Whilst the potential in the domestic market is vast, the opportunities to grow the business globally are probably greater in the medium term and there is commitment to controlled international expansion.

LighterLife is privately owned, profitable and well funded, has a relatively new senior executive team who have brought a refreshing level of dynamism, vision, commercial awareness and ambition into the business. They are now looking to recruit like minded people in a variety of roles.
